HEF CHEM CO. was established in 1985 as agrochemical producer and also began its fertilizer production in 1991.
The central office of the Company locates in Tehran but the factory locates in Semnan by 10,000 square metres extent.
The first product of the Company was home insecticide which was presented to the market with ZED brand. The production of the insecticide was licensed by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education and since then all production process (making, packing, and distribution) are fulfilled under supervision of the Ministry.
The main activity of the Company is in formulation and production of pesticides. In this field of activity, HEF CHEM CO. has capability and license for producing pesticides with FS,WDG, G, SP, EC, SL, SC, O,OEC, WP, and …, insecticides, acaricides, herbicides, and fungicides. All applied formulations are made in laboratory by FAO and WHO standards and pesticides production and distribution are under Plants Protection Organization related to Ministry of Agricultural Jihad. Fertilizer is also one of the main products of HEF Company. The company has been succeeded in granting license from Agricultural Support Services Corporation for production of fertilizers because of its good reputation and specialist staff. With the variety of products including granulated fertilizers, perfect liquid fertilizers, specialty liquid fertilizers, and NPK powder fertilizers perfectly soluble in water and fertilizer for the plants which suffer by lack of some elements, the company has got unique successes in presentation the quality and quantity of agrochemical products.

HEF CHEM CO. is exclusive representative of COEX Bottles of Metalchimica Company of Italy and intends to obtain exclusive representation from many of companies which produce pesticides and fertilizers.
Producing some pesticides under license of reputable companies of the world is in agenda of HEF company. In R&D department , considerable studies and researches have been made by using some techniques, mediate materials, and surfactants and acting in this field is under consideration. Substituting old formulas with new ones for ineffectiveness the environmental and human side effects as well as doing recyclable packs and … are among other targets of the Company.
Developing the quality and quantity of the agricultural products raised by the hardworking farmers of our country is a pivot on which all these activities rotate. Commercial Department of our Company intends to be active in export fields and enters in world markets.
